Alma TV has been operating in the telecommunications services market for 24 years, during which time the company was able to successfully attract and serve a significant part of the country's population. In 2014, the operator decided to combine several separate billing systems (both for vendors and installations) in various regions of Kazakhstan into a single full-fledged billing center.
As a result of the tender, the Russian company Forward Telecom became the partner of Alma TV in the implementation of new IT solutions. Alma-TV has chosen Forward Billing as an IT system that allows it to work in high load mode and be able to scale. One of the selection criteria was the financial indicator: the Forward platform was the most profitable. At the same time, the platform has convenient tools for integration, and automation of related business processes, integration with the Call Center, verification of technical connectivity, and automation of mutual settlements with partners (PRM). Forward Billing, Forward PC and Forward BPM, Forward OSS (AMS, TI, SP), Forward eShop solutions were also used in the project.
The project teams of both companies were faced with the difficult task of combining all the available scattered information within a single settlement center. As part of this work, it was necessary to agree on the migration formats for each branch and prepare for it, conduct in-depth training for users in the central office and in all 16 branches. Due to the implementation of qualitative planning and parallelization of all the main processes of the project, it was possible to carry out all the work in time agreed by the parties. As a result of the project, data from all disparate regional IT systems were collected, processed and transferred to a shared billing center located in Almaty, in the Alma TV data center. Regional data is divided into separate departments with different levels of access for staff. Key users in all regions of the presence of “Alma TV” were trained in several courses of work with the system and received the appropriate certificates.

Today, a single billing center “Alma TV” performs the functions of tariffication, subscriber base management, settlements with customers and implements the entire business logic of the company."
